Homework - 11/22

Today we watched a documentary on Zheng He called "Emperor of the Seas."  Students had to take notes that support their argument of whether Zheng He's voyages should be celebrated or not.  There is no homework over break, please enjoy your time with family and friends.

Sorry for the gap in posts, I was out with a sick kid for a couple of days.  Tonight there is no homework, however we just started our first DBQ activity on Zheng He and his voyages.  Students will be given a few primary documents and will be asked to analyze and complete a corresponding written assignment.  Please watch for updates.

Students are working on test corrections and flashcards from chapter 3 test.  Due to low scores, everyone will be retaking the chapter 3 test on Monday, November 4, 2013.  I will inout the higher of the two test scores.  Students need to get there test signed and bring it back tomorrow.

Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to 7th grade world history. This year we are going to be taking a journey through several different cultures during the medieval and modern time periods. I want each student's learning experience to be filled with discovery, enrichment, and fun. I have a class syllabus that will be hand out in class and accessible through this link also. I have high expectations for all of my students, which I have outlined in the Classroom Expectations that I will hand out in class and which is also accessible through this link.
